Angel Award Named after founding member Fred Angel, this award is presented to a NVBC member, exclusive of members of the Board of Directors, who is involved in Club activities and contributes time for the betterment of the club. The award is an engraved pewter cup. This year’s recipient is Phyllis Cowley in recognition of her many years assisting in the Hunt Tests. |

Dogs of the Year Based on their competive performance records, NVBC recognizes “Dogs of the Year” in many areas. No dog can win this award more than two years in a row. Photographs of the winning dogs will be included in the annual club advertisement in the American Brittany Magazine. New Titles Despite pandemic restrictions on AKC events during 2020, seven members of the Northern Virginia Brittany Club earned 55 new titles on 18 dogs. The reporting period is from November 1, 2019 to October 31, 2020. New titles will be included in the annual club advertisement in the American Brittany Magazine.
